NORMAL THRESHOLDS 

We do generally recommend normal thresholds as these have been built and designed to prevent ANY ingress of water or draught.  

LOW THRESHOLDS 

Disabled AccessLegislation surrounding accessibility for the disabled has led to the popularity of low threshold doorways which, in some cases, are a highly practical solution.  

When choosing this option, we urge you to consider whether the location of your bifold door will expose it to particularly persistent wind or rain and would suggest that flooring immediately inside the doorway should be chosen bearing in mind that there could be some weather ingres.
