Standard Thresholds

This is the most effective design for all bifolds on the market and will eliminate any possibility of water ingres or draughts. 

The standard threshold should sit on a hardwood cill to repell rain water.

Low Thresholds

In some circumstances, including where disabled or wheelchair access is required, it may be highly desirable to have a completely unobstructed doorway.  Low thresholds can work very well in a sheltered position or where it will not be heavily exposed to the elements.  We recommend full consideration of the environment before opting for a low threshold.
